THE WAY THEY ARE DOING THINGS IN OHIO.

The Guernsey Jeffersonian, in order to still the cry of not specie enough to carry on the business of the country, recommends the following salutary method of getting the specie in circulation. If that is done, there will be plenty of that article afloat.

"Let every democrat, when he gets hold of a note on a bank reasonably convenient, immediately demand the specie for it, and when he pays for a day's labor or for any article he may purchase, pay it in the lawful money of the land. He would be practising as well as preaching, he would help to do away with the delusion that there is not specie enough to transact the business of the country with."
