From Puget Sound League to Play
In PSBA Tourney Next Weekend

Seattle Nisei Veterans qualified as the No. 2 team from the Puget Sound League in the Puget Sound Baseball Association tournament next week-end when they tripped Jewell's Detectives, 7-5, last Sunday at Rainier playfield.

George Shimizu was the winning pitcher.

Before beating the Detectives, the Veterans dropped a 16-1 call to the Italian club for the P. S. championship. The losing Vet nine used Nakamichi, Takayoshi and Fujiwara.
