According to our last Advices from Turin, that Court seems to be taken up with several important Affairs.
The King has resolved to take 3000 Swiss into his Service.
The Piedmontese Troops in the Neighbourhood of Alexandria have been lately reinforced, and Recruits are raising all over that Prince's Dominions.
It is reported, that his Sardinian Majesty persists in his Resolution to make good his Pretensions to Savona nevertheless the Genoese seem to be very easy about the Matter; the Reason of which, as we are assured, is, because the King of France guaranteed the Possession of that Place to the Republick about Two Years ago.
