THE FUNNY LITTLE MAN
AT THE UN HAS FUNNY IDEAS
BUT HIS "FUNNY IDEAS" MEAN
DISASTER FOR THE U.S.

The Texas Councilor, Houston, Texas

Twice, as Presidential nominee of the so-called Democratic Party, Adlai Stevenson was decisively defeated by a vote of the American people.

In spite of this repudiation, however, we find this same "funny little man with funny ideas" the symbol - if not the actual guiding hand - that steers our ship of state in Washington.

His views and pronouncements at the UN, his part in persuading President Kennedy to withhold military assistance, as promised, to the Cuban invaders, the fact that eight of his law partners, by appointment of the President, hold key positions in the government, are but a few of the more apparent signs of his part in shaping our country's destiny.

Secretary of State Rusk's announcement - following Khrushchev's outbursts over Berlin - that a disarmament agreement is our only alternative to annihilation, and his latest appearance on TV at which time Rusk said he doubted that there would be war over Berlin, not because we would call Khrushchev's bluff, but because we would "negotiate" the problem: Is this not more of the same old appeasement line of Adlai and his fellow one-worlders, Socialists, anti-anti-Communists and dreamers?

And what of our "Foreign Aid" to buy friends program, to be augmented by twenty billion-no questions asked-in Latin America?

Unless there is a complete repudiation and reversal of this policy. and NOW, how much longer can we hope to avoid full and complete destruction of our nation and of the Western World-to be followed by slavery under World Government tyranny? How much more proof is needed to convince even the most reluctant doubter that Adlai Stevenson and his cohorts spell doom for everything that we believe in, and that our Constitution guaranteed to us-until we lost control of our government to the schemers who plot our destruction!
