We are also informed, that the Ships which put into the Road of Aix, still remained there; that some of the Ships which got up the River Villaine had been destroyed by Sir Edward Hawke, who was arrived at Portsmouth; that the Crew belonging to the Resolution Man of War, had all got safe to England from the coast of France; that there was some Talk of a Spanish War; that there was a grand Fleet fitting out at Portsmouth and Plymouth, which was to be commanded by Admiral Saunders, on a very important Expedition; and that there were great Preparations making in every Port in England, for a vigorous Prosecution of the War, notwithstanding their talk of a Peace sometimes.
