AUSTRIA NEAR TERROR REIGN

VIENNA, Austria, Sept. 19.—(UP).—Claiming to have information that the Heimwehr Fascists intend to attempt a coup d'etat in a few days, radical elements in the Socialist party today demanded that their leaders permit them "to meet force with force."

Radical elements in the aroused Socialist party declared they intended to arm and march thru the streets of Vienna immediately the Heimwehr (home guard) members occupy the city hall in the Austrian capital.

The demands further complicated the problems facing Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss, fighting not only against overthrow by the outlawed Austrian Nazi party, but by rebelling forces within the ranks of his followers.
