Dear Percy:
I certainly do not mind you running my article. I consider it an honor.
Sincerely,
Jackie Robinson.
My pal, William 'Bill' Seabron, who is Assistant Director of the (FEPC) at Detroit writes:
I should have written you long ago to tell you how good it is to have your column back again in the Spokesman and Recorder. The paper seems complete again. (Editor's Note: Bill, if I print the above I may have to pay Villa more money).
"I don't have an immediate plan to be in Minneapolis, but if I should (and I might) I will surely look you up. One of the pictures in my office here is of you, Gov. (now Federal Judge) Youngdahl and Rev. John Simmons. Every time I look at it I get a warm glow and reminisce on those pleasant days back in Minneapolis. It is always nice to have many of my Twin City friends call on me whenever they are this way, and I hope they continue. It seems that Minneapolis and the many friends I have left behind will always be part of me. We are all well, and the war goes rather well. Hello to Cecil. — Your pal, "Bill"
