THE MEETING TO-DAY.

Judge Thurman and Hon. R. T. Mkrkick of Washington city, will be in the city this morning, and both will speak this afternoon. If the day shall turn out to be fair, there will be a very large procession through the streets, of Democrats on horse back, in carriages, buggies and wagons, and on foot. This procession will form at the Custom House at 10 o'clock and move shortly after that hour. The speaking will be from the west front of the State House, commencing at the hour of 2 o'clock, providing the day is fit for out-door exercises, otherwise, we presume it will take place in the Opera House.
