The Spanish ambassador will no doubt, bring with him a suitable retinue to support that magnificence which is inseparable from the character of the representative of a crowned head. The Prince Maffarino, ambassador from Spain to the court of England, never expended less than 30,000l. sterling per ann. And the circulation of so capital a sum must be highly beneficial to the most opulent nation; but this advantage, and those arising from other ambassadors, will be lost to America.
