Addresses Postponed Last Week Are Set For Tomorrow.
A four-minute speaking campaign to be conducted by the Casper Chamber of Commerce among the towns and camps in the Salt Creek oil field for the purpose of enlightening the population there in regard to the Casper-Alcova irrigation project will be started Saturday. This was to have been conducted April 26 but was postponed owing to bad weather conditions.
The speakers will leave the chamber of commerce headquarters at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. They expect to arrive in the Midwest Home camp at 11 o'clock. The party will then split into eight groups and each group will cover a particular camp of the field where the speakers will make short talks to the men during lunch hour.
In the afternoon they will go on a sightseeing tour of the field and in the evening they will appear before other camps and at the towns of Lavoye, Salt Creek, Snyder and Midwest.
The four-minute speakers include J. J. Foley, J. P. Kem, Lew M. Gay, G. L. Ferguson, R. D. Wallace, Burke H. Sinclair, W. M. Holland, J. E. Scott, C. A. Cullen, R. C. Cather, George Jarvis, M. O. Danford, H. B. Durham, W. B. Cobb, Emmett Fuller, M. P. Wheeler, W. F. Wilkerson, M. J. Foley, J. A. Leary and R. S. Ellison.
