Jan. 29. A correspondent says, that a literary gentleman, in the circle of his acquaintance, has made the interment of the dead the subject of his researches for many years, and for this purpose has visited most of the burying grounds, and receptacles of dead, in this metropolis and its environs, and has made some remarkable discoveries, and will soon lay them before the public. Our correspondent says, he has seen his friend's plan of a burying ground, and vaults on a new construction, which will prove, that the usual way practiced by this and other nations, in burying their dead, is wrong, and he evidently points out a new mode of interment, more agreeable to the feelings of the living.
