The Sentence of the Court Martial in the case of captain GEORGE LITTLE, has been long since sent to him, with the determination of the Secretary of the Navy thereon. There was not, we are assured, any delay in making to captain Little this communication.

This mode of procedure, we understand, is strictly conformable to the established practice in relation to the sentences of Courts Martial.

It follows that the criminating remarks of some Eastern prints, on the conduct of the Executive in not publishing the sentence in this case, are misapplied.
