RUSS PRIEST INDICTED BY GRAND JURY

NEW YORK - The Most Reverend Nicholas John Kedroff, 36, Archbishop of the Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic church in North America and the Aleutian Islands, was indicted by a federal grand jury. He is charged with perjury and conspiracy, representing falsely that Michael P. Kosolapoff, a Russian, was born at Sitka. Conviction on the charge would carry seven years and $12,000 fine as the maximum sentence. The alleged offense occurred at a deportation hearing for Kosolapoff.
