There should be a time in everyone's day when he attempts to see himself in relation to the rest of the world. Charles Lawrence, Secretary of the Southern Field Council of the National Student Christian Associations, told Morehouse College students Thursday. Each of us needs to subject himself to the sort of criticism in which we take inventory of ourselves, he continued, and we need look at our strong points along with our weak points.
Mr. Lawrence chose for his subject "Do You Want to Get Well." The sin of projection of one's faults to others is perhaps nowhere so prevalent as on a college campus, he declared to the students, and the lack of proper personal discipline to lead a morally respectable life is often blamed on college authorities.
