Reports Stab Victim In Critical Condition

A 26 year old victim of a Friday night stabbing was in critical condition Saturday at Grady Hospital with a collapsed left lung, police said.

Dets. M.A. Johnson and M.W. Blackwell listed the wounded man as Eddie Thomas, 26, of 1025 West Fair St., S.W. Thomas was stabbed Friday about 9:30 p.m. in his left side. The thrust collapsed his left lung, the officers reported.

Police said Thomas was wounded at a place of business located at 1321 Jonesboro Road. The victim's condition made it impossible to learn details of the stabbing, police said.
