EXPEDITION AGAINST MONTREAL!

Extract of a letter, dated Burlington, Nov. 11.

"I have been agreeably surprised with this morning's news from the army.

"The long lost Wilkinson has at length found himself below Ogdensburg, with a force of 10,000 men, in boats.--Gen. Harrison has joined him with a reinforcement.--They are pulling for Montreal with rapid speed. Gen. Hampton and his army have returned to Chazy, and will force a junction by Odletown with the other army. This you may depend on, as I have it from Lieutenant S. who saw a letter from Gen. Wilkinson to Gen. Hampton on the subject. A few days will do the business."
