IN THE UNITED STATES 1,200,000 farmers are directly benefited from marketing agreements which cover several different kinds of products such as milk, fruits and vegetables.
One of the more important reasons why the marketing agreement or marketing order plan has proved beneficial, is that it is a producer-built plan Such a program cannot be started unless the great majority of farmers in a certain area want it.
