THIRD ROUND SET IN CFCC TOURNEY
Play Must Be Completed By April 13; Finals On April 20

The results of the second round of play in the Cape Fear Country Club spring golf tournament have been announced. The third round must be completed not later than April 13. The finals have been set for April 20.

The results of the second round: J. H. Davis Jr. scored a one-up victory over Charles Blake in one of the feature matches in the championship flight. L. B. Orrell took Harold Alexius, 5-4. B. M. Washburn defeated Ike Grainger, 3-2.

J. P. Herring scored a 3-1 upset over Robert Strange Jr. to feature play in the first flight. Strange was medalist in the tourney, but couldn't take Herring in the match today.

L. E. Woodbury beat F. H. Bailey, 3-2 in the second flight. W. T. Benton was forced to 19 holes before downing L. M. Snow, one up. D. H. Earp edged Raeford Trask, one-up. S. B. Broadfoot also was forced into over-time, beating Herbert Bluethenthal one up in 20.

N. E. Davis trimmed Tom James, 5-3. in the third flight. W. L. Bozeman was a 3-1 victor over N. W. Humphry. W. B. Long moved up with a 4-3 conquest of J. B. Hughes Jr. Norwood Orrell took W. R. Chisholm, 4-2.
