On the 31st ultimo an official notification was made to the French Legislative Assembly, that in consequence of the arrangement entered into between Gen. Oudinot and the Roman Triumvirate, the gates of Portico and Pancrazia had been thrown open to the French troops, who were adopting measures for the immediate occupation of Rome, which would take place with perfect quietness and order.
The communication produced a deep sensation in the Chamber.
