Proceeding Against Huntington.

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 17.-United States District Attorney Knight has concluded to proceed with the case against C. P. Huntington, for whom a warrant was asked for the issuance of an interstate railroad pass. Knight is preparing all the facts in the case and will refer them to the attorney general at Washington for investigation and instructions. Knight says Huntington is not the only railroad man in California accused of issuing interstate passes. If Huntington is prosecuted others will likewise suffer.
