Tuesday last came into Port, the French Brig mentioned in our last, to be taken by the Captains Fenton and Skinner, of this Port: She is a beautiful Vessel, and the same that Captain Spring, of Philadelphia, defended so gallantly against a French Privateer, on his Voyage from Jamaica, for Bristol: She was bound from Leogane, for Curacoa, when taken, where she was to have been fitted out for a Privateer, having all her Stores on board, 14 Carriage Guns, with 20 Men, and a tolerable Cargo of Indigo, Coffee and Cotton.
