Mongrelism.
The other day the New York Sun remarked that ever since Mexico became a Republic there has been discord and civil strife among the people. The country, in fact, has been almost constantly in a state of anarchy, and it has been tolerably well demonstrated that the Mexicans are not competent to govern themselves properly. True enough, added the Hartford Times, and no people of mixed black and white bloods, and equality of negro and white people at the polls, ever were capable of self-government. No such "equality" or mongrelism ever will be fit to govern a Republic. Wherever mongrelism is raised to the governing power, either the weaker race will be exterminated or the Government will go to destruction. Mexico is a fair example.
Will some nigger-worshiping Radical--the Dayton Journal, for instance--please advise us in what latitudinal or longitudinal spot that nation exists, or has existed, where the "happy family" of mongrelism lived peacefully and prospered and endured?
