Treasury of State Has Three Million Dollars in It as Shown by the Official Report for January.
CHARLESTON, Feb. 3.—More than $4,000,000, according to the report of the state auditor and treasurer, is remaining in the various funds of the state including the invested portion of the irredeucible school fund. The statement for the month of January shows a balance in the state fund of nearly 3,000,000, with receipts for the month in that fund alone of more than $2,250,000. The receipts, expenditures and balances in the several funds at the end of the month, are as follows:
General Fund.
