Supposed Murder in Glastenbury.—We learn says the Hartford Courant of Saturday, that the body of Mr. Billings Lucas, Glastenbury, was found on Monday evening at the mouth of Roaring Brook in that town. His face and head were badly bruised. He was last seen on Sunday morning, and his body was discovered by two young men fishing. His boat was near by on the shore, with his boots and hat. An inquest was held, and the jury returned a verdict of murder. Two men have been arrested on suspicion. No reason has been assigned for the murder. He was formerly captain of the Sloop Liberty, running between Hartford and New York, but has not been in that business for the last seven years.
