SCHOOL HEAD ESCAPES
O. G. Jackman, principal and superintendent of the high school at Moose Lake, one of the three buildings that escaped destruction in the holocaust, escaped unharmed, according to advices received by relatives here today.
A letter written by Mrs. Jackman tells how Mr. Jackman made his wife and four small sons wade out into the lake when the flames approached, and kept pouring water over their heads with a bucket when the fire was carried down on them in sheets by the high wind.—Minneapolis Tribune.
