Permanent City Clerkship For Roy Hamlin

City Clerk Roy Hamlin was appointed permanently last night by City Manager Dave King and City Commission.

Mr. King said that he found Hamlin doing a good job.

Former acting City Manager W. W. Demeritt said that he had an opportunity to observe Mr. Hamlin during his tenure of office and found him efficient and capable in every respect and congratulated him on the fine job he was doing as city clerk.

Mr. Demeritt also congratulated Mr. Hamlin on the raise of salary approved in the budget from $200 to $225 monthly.
