LEADVILLE'S STRIKE.

No Change in the Situation and a Truce Not Declared.

Leadville, Col., Sept. 28.—The situation is practically unchanged this morning. There was some firing last night and early this morning, but it was merely the firing of guards demanding the halting of strangers. It is now understood that the conference of the miners' committee of five resulted in a decision to continue the strike. The vote is said to have been three for continuance and two for an effort looking to a compromise.
