COLUMBUS, OHIO— The Ohio Division of Wildlife, Department of Natural Resources is announcing the release of a thirty-two page booklet entitled "Nature Lore."
The booklet which was written and designed primarily for children in the intermediate grades, is profusely illustrated throughout with many black and white drawings of birds, fish, animals, trees, flowers, etc.
Written in simple style, this booklet will provide school children with much of the basic information concerning natural history in outdoors Ohio.
A paragraph of general information is given for each of sixty-seven common Ohio fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, and plants.
General distribution is being handled through the school system and Principals may obtain fifty copies free of charge for reference use in their schools. Requests should be sent to: Mr. Robert R. Finley, Supervisor Conservation Education, Department of Education, State Office Building, Columbus 15, Ohio.
