Mexico City, June 15.—Peaceful
relations between Mexico and the
United States will continue regard-
less of policies that may be pursued
between the next American admin-
istration. officials of the revolution-
ary government declared today in
discussing the nomination of Sen-
ator Harding as presidential candi-
date of the republican party.
General Obregon said he believed
Harding was a friend of Mexico.
"It is quite true
the republicans
have some leaders who are fiery in
their views toward my country but
I do not believe
these sentiments
will prevail with
the more level
headed republican
leaders," Obregon
said. President
La Huerta refused to comment.
