The following regiments in the Electorate of Hanover have orders to hold themselves in readiness to march to whatever part of the world they may be ordered by his Britannic Majesty, viz. Somerset, Safford, Shilter, ditto, Prince Charles, Saxe Gotha, Scunburg Otto, Wallhaufen, Sporken, and Wangenheim, with eight battalions of grenadiers, 400 men each, and two of Jagers. Each of the regiments consists of two battalions, and the whole, we may suppose, will amount to about 11,000 men. They are to be commanded by General Wangenheim, and it is said Prince Ernest of Mecklenburg, brother to the Queen of Great Britain, will come out as volunteer.
