JACK BAKER ON POLICE FORCE

TAKES PLACE OF EVERETT RIVAS, WHO IS NOW SERVING AS DEPUTY SHERIFF

Jack Baker has been appointed to take the place of Traffic Officer Everett Rivas, who was appointed a deputy sheriff to serve in connection with the spraying operations ordered resumed by the plant board.

Mr. Baker yesterday was provided with the equipment necessary and was to assume the duties of the office at once.

Chief Ivan Elwood said that there was to be one appointed to take the place of Patrolman Basil Tynes, another member of the police force appointed deputy sheriff.
