Letters from New-York and Philadelphia intimating, that it has been reported in those Capitals, the Merchants of this Town determined to break thro' their Agreement and import Fall Goods, notwithstanding the continuance of the Tea Duty: the Public may be assured that nothing can be further from Truth, nor has the spirit of the Trade at any Time appeared more determined.

Capt. Scott in the Ship Lydia sails To-morrow or next Day, with the Goods, imported here contrary to the Non-Importation Agreement. and it was Voted unanimously Yesterday by the Body of the Trades not to rest satisfied with the storing of any Goods that may hereafter arrive: -but that all must be reshipped or the Names of the Importers published for two Years to come, together with those of the old Importers...

A Letter published in Mr. Holt's last Paper, dated London. March, asserts, that the Merchants of this Town had imported £.150,000 sterl. in Goods since Christmas :...This Assertion is an absolute Falsehood, as by the best Computation scarce 10,000l. Worth of Goods contrary to the Non-Importation Agreement has been imported by our Merchants within that Time, and every Thing in the Power of the People has been done and will be done to atone for the Offences of a few selfish Individuals.
