Trial of Case Against Whitefish Bay Now In Sixth Week

The suit of John T. Blake against the village of Whitefish Bay for $140,000, alleged to be due on a sewer contract, began its sixth week this morning before Judge Gustav Gehrz.

It is claimed that Blake was given the contract in 1917 to be finished within a specified time, when the war came on and it was held to be non-essential industry. He also claims that by change In the plans by the city of Milwaukee a different outlet was required and he had to substitute a 30 for 15-inch pipe at war prices.
