Levi Smilie is in Boston, Mass., on business this week.

Ed Culver and son of Richford were in town Saturday.

Miss Lottie Atwell is visiting her sister, Mrs. H. J. Beard.

Dr. Maurice spent several days in Burlington last week.

Captain and Mrs. McFarland were in Hyde Park recently.

Howard Thomas and wife visited in Jeffersonville last week.

Mrs. Heman Fletcher and son visited friends in Bakersfield recently.

Orsmas Hodgkins of Boston, Mass., visited friends in town last week.

Elmer Leach has gone to housekeeping, in the house recently purchased.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Westcott visited relatives in Bakersfield over Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hill are visiting their daughter, Mrs. Geo. Fisher, at Stowe.

Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Potter of Keene, N. H., visited his uncle, Luke Potter, last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Luther Wheelock of Jeffersonville visited her sister, Mrs. Almira Tillotson, Saturday.

L. E. Tillotson is building a new front to his store which, when completed, will add much to the place.

Mrs. F. N. Stearns and Mrs. H. J. Beard attended the closing exercises at the Normal school, Johnson, last week.

Frank Laraway was very badly hurt by the breaking of a belt in his mill Saturday. His right hand was badly cut. He was standing about 15 feet from the arbor when the belt broke.
