Dec. 18. Capt. Martinborough, in the Jolly Robin Privateer, who surprized and plundered the French inhabitants at St. Martin, met with a vast Booty there, in Cocoa, Indigo, and other valuable Effects, besides Money, and upwards of 200 Negroes, so that he was obliged to send for several Vessels to help him to carry them off.

Several Privateers, after the Example of Capt. Martinborough, have visited and plundered Dominica and St. Lucia, and carried off from each Place Effects amounting to a considerable Value.
