"THE AWAKENING WE ALL NEED."
Rev. Bernard P. Smith's Subject Last Evening.
Sunday evening Rev. Bernard P. Smith made a strong plea for Christian Unity, basing his remarks on the prayer of Christ as set forth in the seventeenth chapter of St. John. He pointed out how much more could be accomplished both in foreign and home fields, were all the one hundred and fifty denominations to unite, with Christ as Prophet, Priest, and King.
Last night to an appreciative audience he spoke on "The Awakening We All Need." Truly it was a call to righteousness and purer lives to professing Christians, and an earnest appeal to awaken sinners to their duty toward God and man.
