Upon the reception of the important and agreeable news, that the Convention of New-Hampshire had acceded to the Federal Constitution, Captain Brown, with his Artillery company, met, and after performing a number of military manoeuvres, with their usual exactness, a discharge of nine cannon was given, in honor of the nine states which have adopted the Constitution. A federal salute was then given--After which the following toasts were drank:
1. The State of New-Hampshire.
2. The United States in Congress.
3. Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
4. Governor Hancock.
5. His Excellency John Adams, Esquire, our late Ambassador.
6. General Washington.
7. The King of France.
8. The Marquis de la Fayette.
9. The Arts and Sciences.
10. Agriculture.
11. The FREEDOM of the PRESS.
12. May the ever-memorable Nineteenth of April 1775, be remembered by Lexington.
13. Our worthy brethren who FELL on the nineteenth of April, 1775.
