BOARDERS QUIT HOUSE IN RUSH

Two bombardments of rocks and bricks proved to be too much for E. D. Angelus, Filipino, and his islander boarders Thursday night and they announced the intention of leaving the house they rented late Thursday night as soon as daylight permitted Friday morning.

The first hail of missiles struck the 427 Hamilton street house early in the evening and Angelus summoned El Centro police. The neighborhood was quiet when police arrived. A few hours later another bombardment occurred. Police again were summoned and again the neighborhood was quiet. Filipino roomers at the place were said to have quit the place during the first barrage and taken refuge in a parked automobile several doors down the street.

Angelus told police he did not like the neighborhood and intended to leave at daylight.
