Last Week some of the Quakers, in Behalf of themselves, and others of their Perswasion, waited on Sir William Young, General Ligonier, and other proper Officers, with an Offer, at their Expence, to furnish the Troops employed in his Majesty's Service, in this severe Season of the Year in the North, with Woollen Waistcoats to double over the Breast and Belly, long enough to be under their Waistbands, to be worn under their other Cloathing; which was well accepted; and ten Thousand will be ready to be delivered in four or five Days, and the rest with the utmost Expedition.
