Full Text

Nov. 8. A Scotch correspondent remarks,
that it is strange the friends of the courts and
religions of France and England should complain
of the customs and manners of the Protestant
Republican States of America. If they don't
like Republican principles, why do they go to
America? Let them quietly enjoy the blessings
of Monarchy at Madrid, Paris, and London,
in all its perfections: the Inquisition, the Bastile,
and the Tower, which indeed are blessings,
both of a spiritual and temporal nature, which
the Bostonians have no relish for.
