Full Text

Hartford, Dec. 31.—Railroad travel on all roads has been reported excessively heavy to-day. All express trains have carried extra cars, and the traffic has been equal to that of the days preceding Thanksgiving and Christmas. The few trains running on the New England road account partially for the heavy trains now running both east and west. It has been stated that a new time table will go into effect on the New England road to-morrow, giving more accommodations. The ticket agent here said to-night that he had not heard anything about it.
