SPANISH MAIN.

"Angostura, Sept. 16, 1820.

Revolution in Cumana.

We have received advice, that the people in the neighborhood of Cumana, supported by the garrison, which had separated from the battalion of Clarinea, rose against that part of the garrison which remained faithful to the king, and expelled it from the place by force of arms.

Although we have some details of this event, we prefer not to publish them until we may receive those that are official."
