Coffee is now plenty, and the average price for the last week has been 33 sous or 23 dollars per 100 lbs, on board. We are inundated with all descriptions of American produce. Ten American vessels have entered the harbor since the Two Friends, principally with provisions.
The North and South are now united, and the army are all returning home with president Boyer--every thing is tranquil. The empress and madame Dessalines yesterday entered the town in captivity--they were sent by the president on board one of the republican vessels from the Cape. They are treated with respect by the people, but in future will be considered as simple citizens.
