Full Text

May 30. On Wednesday last a Barber's Apprentice on Tower-Hill, hanged himself in his Master's Cellar; just before Dinner he went down Stairs, and staying there as they thought very long, sent a Man after him, but he found the Door fastened, and he not answering when called, they broke it open, and there found him hanging in a new Two-penny Cord. They can assign no Reason for this Action, but what seems very ridiculous; he had been often wishing he was very handsome, that every one might like him: but as he grew up he became very perceptibly crooked, which he laid so much to Heart, that he had been observed to be melancholy for some Time past.
