Bro. Burpick, we beg your pardon. We intended to notice the new suit with which you have dressed your Review but in the press of other matters, it was forgotten. However, we congratulate you. Your paper has an excellent typographical appearance.
The State Register does not miss any opportunities to pour out upon the Chicago Tribune its vials of sarcasm and denunciation, but it is pretty apt to furnish, further down in the same column evidence of a relenting disposition, in the shape of an editorial article stolen bodily from the Tribune's columns. Such exhibitions of the conciliatory spirit are really touching.
