PENSION INCREASES GRANTED VETERANS
During the past few days congressman Alvin F. Weichel says he has had many inquiries concerning pension and compensation checks of war veterans, their widows and dependents. The congressman says that during the last session there was passed legislation that became law on August 8th., whereby Increases were given to war veterans, their widows and their dependents, increasing by twenty per cent their compensation and pension. These increases are coming in the present checks and they may be cashed without any inquiry to the treasury of the United States.
