Neill Bill Passes Senate

ATLANTA, Ga., August 9-(AP)-

The Neill bill requiring centralization of all public funds in the state treasury was passed in the senate today and sent back to the house for concurrence in two amendments.

As amended Representative Neill of Muscogee county, author of the measure, estimated the bill would save the state about sixty thousand dollars annually. In its original form the bill probably would have saved the state one hundred thousand he said. The senate amendment made exceptions in the cases of the department of game and fish and the department of forestry.
