Apartments For Working People Being Built

A barracks building at Bourne Field, near the golf course, is being remodeled by the Development Dept of Virgin Islands Corporation to accommodate working people, especially government employees recruited on the mainland.

About twenty five to thirty apartments will be built, and several of them are now being worked upon.

The Development Department is not accepting any applications for apartments inasmuch as it already has a long list of applicants, and is performing work only as a part-time project.
