At Bible Temple
There is every indication that Sunday night the Evangelistic Party at the Bible Temple on Corner of Main and Date Palm will entertain another overflow crowd. Special arrangements are being made to accommodate as many as possible.
Considerable public interest has been aroused over the special lecture that has been announced by the evangelist for Sunday night. Mr. Leiske will answer in his lecture the question. "Is Saturday or Sunday the Christian Sabbath?"
The Evangelist in speaking of this lecture Sunday' night said. "There is one thing about this entire religious question of the Sabbath upon which my mind has been settled for sometime and that is this, that a 'day' will not save me. for if a day would save me, I would go to church three days before the Sabbath and three days after There are many in church and political offices that have only a Sabbath religion and the balance of the week you can't trust them across the street, for their religion is all in the day instead of in Christ."
In concluding his report the preacher said: "The Evangelistic Party is having a good time in McAllen and we do appreciate the very warm spirit of the christian people in the city and we are enjoying our work here, We are also happy to see the great awakening at this time in the city in the study of the Word of God and the desire of hundreds to return wholeheartedly to Christ."
