"It is said that it has been promised verbally, on the part of the English, that ships laden with provisions might go to Norway. The Danish prisoners have already been set at liberty, and arrived here to-day. Business and trade of every description, hitherto interrupted, have resumed their course, and the effects, which had been removed from the eastern part of the city, for fear of bombardment, are replaced. The different posts are again occupied by the garrison. The subscriptions for our wounded are very considerable; the Counsellor of State, De Conningk, has sent 10,000 dollars for this noble purpose."
